[English > Chinese] can anyone translate this meme to me?

Chinese

My English isn’t great, and understanding English memes is even harder. I tried asking GPT for help, but I didn’t get a translation that was faithful, expressive, and natural.

小孩指出了那位男人的秃头,妈妈就问了为什么会秃了。 男人答:哦,就脱发么(hair loss),。 女人嘲笑说,哈哈,他提起了loss
The kid pointed out the man's bald head, and the mom asked why he was bald. The man replied, "Oh, it's just hair loss." The woman laughed and said, "Haha, he mentioned 'loss'!"

第四张图是个loss梗,就是这样:  The fourth image is a loss meme, just like this:

I know no Chinese, but I can tell this is a correct explanation of the joke, and that's really funny to me

Legit thought I was on r/peterexplainsthejoke and just about had a stroke trying to understand why the explanation was in Chinese before I realized where I was lol

loss有什么含义吗?一般在什么情况会说呢?我搜了一下这个梗,大概懂了它怎么来的,但是不懂它能被怎么运用
What does "loss" mean? In what situations is it usually used? I looked up this meme and have a rough idea of where it came from, but I'm not sure how it can be applied

中文(漢語)

就没什么意思。起初就是在嘲笑画家,因为这画家本来只搞搞笑图,一出了这就被黑粉讽刺。
It's not that interesting. At first, people were just mocking the artist because he usually creates funny drawings, and then he got criticized by haters for this one.

之后画家大佬们也开始画loss,就只为了渲染这个梗。
After that, the big-name artists started drawing loss just to play up this meme.

怎么用嘛,就像这画里,只要有人提到“loss”这个字,大家就会联想到这个梗。
It's like in this picture; as soon as someone mentions the word "loss," everyone immediately thinks of this meme.

最终是个2008年的梗,现在的年轻人都不太明白啦。
It's ultimately a meme from 2008, and today's young people don't really get it.

谢谢!

hair loss 指的是脱发,第三格和最后一格的 loss 和 | || || |_ 这几条线指的是一个网络漫画 Loss (Wikipedia, Know Your Meme)
Hair loss refers to the condition of losing hair, and the last two lines, "loss" and "|| || || |_," point to a webcomic called Loss (Wikipedia, Know Your Meme)

我也不知道该怎么解释,大概和中文圈老扯到 114514 这种抽象梗上差不多吧……
I’m not really sure how to explain it, but it’s probably similar to how people in the Chinese community joke about abstract memes like 114514

麻!那人是个秃子!  Dude! That guy is bald!

你为啥是秃子?  Why are you bald?

哈哈脱发。  Haha, I'm losing my hair.

This isn't really translatable since it's a play on words. Loss is a meme, and the average English speaker wouldn't understand this at all, either.

Average English speaker here (native Australian), this makes very little sense to me.
As an average native English speaker (from Australia), this makes very little sense to me.

The bald guy says he's bald (hairless) because of "hair loss" which may be misheard as "hairless" is my best guess.

Don't waste your time on this.

Its the lines on the last panel that show it is based on the meme loss he said loss, she laughed because of loss and then the lines depict the panels of loss.

"Loss" is the name of an internet comic that became a meme due to how tone deaf it was. The lines represent the arrangement of the people in each of the 4 panels of the comic in the most abstract way possible. This is just a comic of someone hearing the word loss and then referencing the meme.

That's a bone hurting juice, I don't think you can just translate such a in-group joke… it's based on references referencing references!

As a native English speaker: this is completely impenetrable to me.

If there is a joke here, I don't get it.

If it's a reference to something, I don't know what it's refering to.

The last panel isn't even letters/words so o have no idea how to begin to interpret it.

You're getting down votes, but this is the response 90+% of English speakers would have.  It's totally valid to point out that this is so far out there that it's basically irrelevant.

The thing is, this was a major meme.

If anything, all it shows is the age group that you guys are in.

I mean I’m a millennial and I didn’t know about the loss meme for years. I am aware of it now but really if you don’t know what it is, it means you still get outside and have a life.

I only found out about the meme about a year and a half ago and before that I would have called myself chronically online. First time I saw it I was like “wtf have those lines got to o do with losing something”

I grew up reading Ctrl-Alt-Del.  I read "Loss" when it came out.  It's still a weird deep cut.  You're like 4 layers deep of needing to be in on the joke.

Anyone who spends a lot of time online knows Loss

Definately not true... it's just dumb so I had no interest in finding out about it. All I see is lines, useless "meme". If it's not funny, it's not worth meme-ing
