The Act on the Tracing of Profits from Serious Crimes (or hereinafter the Money Laundering Act) based on the 5th EU - Money Laundering Directive of 9 July 2018 imposes a number of obligations on us as lawyers, tax advisors and auditors in relation to the identification of our clients, their agents and their beneficial owners. In this context, our firm must establish and verify the identity of its contractual partners.
